Using easymeetingOnCall

The messaging agent is a simply context menu activated with the right mouse button, as shown in the picture below.

 

You can:

11.  Change your personal status (available, away etc.);

12.  Open easymeetingOnCall;

13.  Close easymeetingOnCall.

 

Selecting “Open” the menu opens the following dialog window:

In which the user enters your Username and Password (of course, you must be previously registered on the easymeeting™ server) and then press “Enter” to connect to the server itself. After the first login, the messenger agent tries to automatically connect to the server, to avoid repeating the procedure at each reboot.

 

By clicking on the “Setup” tab, it takes you to the setup area of easymeetingOnCall previously seen.

 

The agent on the tray bar, once logged, will be presented with a blue and green icon indicating that the user is available, as shown in the figure:

The 4 images at the base of the instant messaging:

1.    Conference call

2.    Open the chat window with other users online

3.    Send an email to users (even those who are not activated in instant messaging) – in the case of different configuration this button allows you to enter a default web site

4.    Remove from “Contacts” (or Favorites).

 

Once logged in, you can call other users very simply, just select with the mouse and press the right button, or press the icon that represents a phone:

At this point a menu will appear to determine what type of call to be made.

The user receives a call window to accept or reject the call.

If you accept a call, easymeetingOnCall begins an easymeeting™ session between users. If the call is rejected, the user calling will receive a message that call was not accepted by the other user. A reminder of this is also visible in the messaging section:

Casella di testo: i	It’s important to know that the virtual meeting with easymeetingOnCall conference in addition to the normal conference used at the same time are subject to constraint of the maximum number of conferences available according to the license.

easymeetingOnCall allows you to send a chat message without logging into a video communications room, in fact you can just press the envelope button in the main menu to show the following dialog window:

To change your status within easymeetingOnCall simply go to the menu File à Change status and select the proffered item:

To check a user, simply click on the “Search” window and enter a few letters in the “Name”, then press “Search”.

Once you search, the user can select and press the “Add” button to ass to your list of “Favorites” and to be informed about the status of ever remote access to easymeetingOnCall.

 

Once a user has been added to a list of “Contacts”, it will remain in Contact with each available access on easymeetingOnCall.

 

Selecting the “Events” tab allows you to see all that happened in your session of easymeetingOnCall:

In the section “Calls” you can track all calls received from other users (which you have or not have answered).

As long as the icon next to the name of the meeting remains green, as indicated by the number 1 in the image above, you can also access the meeting by clicking on it.

This is very convenient when, for example, three people respond to a call and are in the meeting and a fourth person did not respond in time: by pressing the green icon the fourth can still join the lost meeting with the others.

 

To change your status simply goes to the File Menu à Change status, choosing the menu which covers:

The options are: Offline, Online, Do not disturb, Not present, Not available.
