Manage User

In this section you can create, modify or remove both users and groups that are matched.

User

In this area you can add or change users specifying the features and privileges. You can also delete existing users.

Manage user - user

Registered users: are listed users created with their characteristics.

Search: allows you to find the user you want by typing all or part of the username or the name.

General: here is the data relating to the user that you want to create (or modify). If the email field is completed, the user in question will receive an email invitation to the conference if it was from the Calendar.

Grants: allows you to determine the access constraints to the user exposed. There are three possibilities:

§ Basic: This type of user can participate in the conference by logging onto the client, but can not log on either server nor on the scheduler.

§ Scheduler: this is the standard configuration, the user can log on both the client and the scheduler and can book conferences, but can not access the server.

§ Administrator: the user can access both the client, the scheduler and the server and can perform all operations.

Video: indicates the kbit per second, the maximum value of the bandwidth dedicated to video traffic used by the selected client. This parameter will be compared with the initial conference itself.

Casella di testo: i	Typical values of video used are 120kb for a type _low conference, 200kb for type _mid conferences and with participants via HSDPA, 350kb for a normal conference via ADSL, 500kb or more for XDSL and fiber.

Audio: allows you to select the number of audio channels enabled.

“User can”: in this section are the choices of each user.

Be supervisor: if checked it allows the user to access the conference as a supervisor.

Be passive: if checked it allows the user to access the conference as passive; please note that the supervisor can see whether the passive user is connected if the settings of the conference permit it (see Manage Conference).

Enable itself: if checked it allows the user to enable directly on a Full-Duplex channel without having to ask for permission from the supervisor (Interrupt function).

Use session recorder: if checked it allows the user to record the session; other users may be informed whether or not the fact that you are recording the conference based on the conference settings (see Manage Conference).

Send desktop: if checked it allows the user to use lock other desktop’s users (see dedicated paragraph).

Casella di testo: i	Any user can have this privilege regardless of whether it is the supervisor user. If access to the conference with more users with the same privileges, the system allows only the first user to use lock remote desktops function, while the other users are downgraded.

“User must”: in this section are the limitations of each user

Send multi cast packets: if checked this option determines the sending of multicast traffic from the user regardless of the presence of EUS. If not checked the traffic is sent in unicast in the presence of EUS, while if there is no EUS sending traffic is forced multicast. The table below shows the different combinations with EUS.

Receive multicast packets: if checked this option determines the reception of the multicast traffic from the user regardless of the presence of EUS. If not checked the traffic is sent in unicast in the presence of EUS, while if there is no EUS sending traffic is forced in multicast. The table below shows the different combinations with EUS.

Send only audio: if checked the user after entry into the conference can only send audio traffic and no video, while received traffic is both audio and video. The rest continue as normal user. Other users instead of the video user image will see an image of an ear.

Receive only audio: if checked the user after entry into the conference can only receive audio traffic and no video, while sent traffic is both audio and video. The rest continue as normal user.

Receive only Supervisor traffic: if checked the user after entry into the conference can only receive audio and video traffic from supervisor, while supervisor received traffic from all the users connected.

Use strictly baud rate: if checked the client will try to meet the band set.

Group

In this section you can great groups and match them to users.

Through the Search function is possible to find a group you desire by typing all or part of the name.

In this section Create/Modify/Delete a group in the center of the page should include the name of the group you want to create (or modify), in the center column are the names of all the users who have been registered.

To put it in a group select the group in the table above, select the user you want to insert in the left column and click the button that indicates to the right: at this point the names will pass to the right column list where the users belong in the group.

To delete users from the group, however, it is necessary to perform the reverse operation i.e. select users in the right hand column and click the button that shows on the left. After the transaction of the group, to be sure the changes are saved, click on the Save button.
